Media Center Resources

The LMS Media Center offers a wide selection of resources for your use. We have fiction and non-fiction books, reference books, and great audiobooks that you can checkout.

We also have computers that you can use during the school day to work on projects. All of our computers include Microsoft Office XP (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and also Microsoft Publisher 2003.

You can make photocopies in the media center for 10¢ per page. Printing from the computer costs 10¢ on the black & white laser printer or 50¢ on the color laser printer. We strongly recommend that students ask for help if they have never used the media center photocopier or printers.

Databases

NetTrekker - In order to be able to use Nettrekker from home you have to create a username and password while at school and then you can use them to log in at home.

Galileo - GALILEO stands for GeorgiA LIbrary LEarning Online, and it is provided by the state of Georgia. You can access Galileo from school or ask for the password in the media center so that you can use it from home.

World Book Encyclopedia - You can access Worldbook from school or ask for the password in the media center so that you can use it from home
